1What this covers

These terms apply to the Minecraft server at play.zeropvp.xyz, the ZeroPvP Discord, this website, and the store. Connecting to any of them means you accept them.

The server rules sit alongside this page and are part of the agreement. Where the rules go into detail on conduct, they are the more specific text and they win.

ZeroPvP is an independent server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang AB or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB.

2Your account

• You need a legitimate, paid Minecraft Java Edition account. Cracked and shared accounts are not supported.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account. "My friend was playing" is not a defence against a ban.
• Ranked is played on one account. Using a second account to dodge a matchup, a ban, or a bad start is the most serious thing on this page short of cheating.
• There is no age check, and there is nowhere to enter personal details. If you are under the age at which you can agree to terms where you live, have a parent or guardian read this with you.

3Conduct

The rules page is the full version. In short, and without limiting it:

• No cheating, no modifications that help you fight, no exploiting bugs instead of reporting them.
• No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content involving minors, anywhere on the network.
• No advertising other servers, no scamming, no impersonating staff.
• No attacks on the infrastructure, and no attempts to disrupt the service for other players.
• Staff may ask you to screenshare. Refusing, or disconnecting instead, is treated as an admission.

4Purchases

Purchases are processed by Tebex, which is the merchant of record. Their terms apply to the transaction itself.

• What you buy is a licence to use a cosmetic or convenience feature on this server. It is not a physical good, not an investment, and it is not transferable between accounts.
• Nothing sold affects a fight. Ranks and effects are cosmetic and convenience only, and the ladder is not for sale.
• Subscriptions renew until you cancel them, which you do through Tebex.
• Prices, contents and availability of packages can change. Something you already bought is not taken away because its price changed.
• Buy with your own money, or with the permission of whoever owns the payment method. Chargebacks from unauthorised purchases result in a ban.

5Refunds

Digital content is delivered immediately on purchase, and in the EU that means the statutory fourteen day right of withdrawal ends once delivery has begun and you have agreed to that. Tebex asks for that agreement at checkout.

Beyond that, refunds are given at our discretion, and they are given honestly:

• Yes if you were charged twice, if what you bought never arrived, or if the feature was broken and stayed broken.
• No for "I changed my mind", for a ban you earned, or for a package you have already used for weeks.

Ask in a Discord ticket before opening a chargeback. A chargeback opened without asking removes everything bought on the account and bans it.

6Bans and appeals

• Access can be suspended or removed for breaking the rules. Serious cases are permanent and do not need a warning first.
• A ban does not entitle you to a refund of anything bought before it, and purchased features are not restored on a banned account.
• Appeals go through a ticket in the Discord. Anti-cheat bans are backed by stored evidence and that evidence is what an appeal is judged on.
• Evading a ban resets any progress an appeal was making and makes the ban permanent.

7The ladder

• Ratings, tiers and positions are ours to correct. Results gained through cheating, teaming, match fixing or an exploit can be reversed, and the ZP taken from your opponents can be given back to them.
• A season reset clears ratings and match history for everybody. Nothing about a tier is permanent, and holding one confers no right to keep it.
• Your username, skin, tier, ZP and ranked results are shown publicly. If that is not acceptable to you, the ladder is not for you. See the privacy policy.

8The service itself

ZeroPvP is provided as it is, by one person, as a hobby project. There is no uptime guarantee. The server can go down, lose data to a hardware failure, be restarted mid match, or be shut down entirely.

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for lost progress, lost purchases, or anything else arising from using the service. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

9Ownership

The ZeroPvP name, logo, website, plugins and configuration belong to the operator. Do not copy the server's branding or pass off your own project as this one.

Content you post in chat, in tickets or in applications stays yours. By posting it you allow it to be stored, shown to staff, and quoted where it is relevant to moderation.

10Law and changes

German law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.

If any part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.

These terms can change. The date at the top changes with them, and a change that materially affects you will be announced in the Discord rather than only appearing here.
